ORDINANCE NO. 74-7-996
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A DEED, AND OTHER APPROPRIATE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, TO THE COMMONWEALTH
OF KENTUCKY FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
FOR THE WIDENING OF HINKLEVILLE ROAD -PARK AVENUE (US 60), FROM THE NORTHEAST
LIMITS OF I-24 INTERCHANGE TO THOMPSON AVENUE, AND ALSO A CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENT ALONG SAID PROPERTY TO BE USED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAW
PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby,
authorized to execute a deed, and other appropriate contract documents, to the Common-
wealth of Kentucky for the use and benefit of the Department of Transportation, for
Parcel No. 44A, SP 73-6172-9111, as shown and described on Final Right-of-way Plans
for said project, which parcel consists of land along Hinkleville Road -Park Avenue (US 60)
from the Northeast limits of I-24 Interchange to Thompson Avenue; also a construction
easement over certain property adjacent to the above parcel, known as Parcel No. 44A (a)
to be used by the Department of Transportation during the construction of said project.
The total consideration to be $4,075.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
