ORDINANCE NO. 74-5-979
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20-73 "U-TURNS PROHIBITED ON
BROADWAY" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Section 20-73 "U-turns prohibited on Broadway" shall be
amended and reordained so that said Section shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 20-73. U-turns prohibited.
No driver of a vehicle shall turn such vehicle on any street within
the city limits, in such a manner as will cause the same to proceed in an
opposite direction upon the street upon which the vehicle is traveling at the
time. This is commonly known as making a 'U' turn."
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends Section 14 of an ordinance adopted
on September 14, 1925, and which was last amended by Section 1 of an ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 5, 1950.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
