HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 583, Ordinance Number 74-5-976583 ORDINANCE NO. 74-5-976 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLIED MACHINERY COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE (1) PAVING MACHINE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Allied Machinery Company for sale to the City of one (1) New Blaw-Knox PF35 Paver for use in the Street Department, for the total sum of $28,966.61, which includes applicable taxes, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 9, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Allied Machinery Company dated April 15, 1974. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Allied Machinery Company for sale to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. The purchase price for said vehicle shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 3414. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
