HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 575, Ordinance Number 74-4-97357� ORDINANCE$ NO. 74-4-973 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WOODALL MOTOR SALES FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) TRUCK AND CHASSIS FOR TWENTY (20) CUBIC YARD REFUSE PACKER BODY FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Woodall Motor Sales in the amount of $8,027.50 for sale to the City of one (1) 1974 Ford, LN -800, Chassis and cab for a twenty (20) cubic yard refuse packer body for use by the Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 2, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Woodall Motor Sales dated April 15, 1974. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Woodall Motor Sales for sale to the City of the vehicle authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514. SECTION 4.
