AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12-28 "SAME - SALARY" OF
ARTICLE 11, "FIRE DEPARTMENT", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section "12-28. Same - Salary" of Article Il, "Fire
Department" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended
and reordained to read as follows:
"Sec. 12-28. Same - Salary.
Any person occupying the position of non -civil service fire department
switchboard operator shall be paid at the rate of $550.00 per month for the first six
months of employment; at the expiration of six months $555.00 per month; at the
expiration of one year $560.00 per month; at the expiration of two years $565.00
per month; at the expiration of three years $570.00 per month. The said switchboard
operator shall be entitled to receive the same longevity pay as all other regular
full time employees of the City of Paducah as is provided in Section 2-54 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Paducah."
SECTION 2. Section 1 above amends Section 5 of an ordinance adopted on
February 28, 1965, and which was later amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 73-12-909
which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 28, 1973.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
