AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NEST KENTUCKY ROOFING
AND SIDING COMPANY, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY 2400
LINEAR FEET OF CHAIN LINK FENCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Nest Kentucky
Roofing and Siding Company, Inc. for sale to the City of approximately 2400 linear
feet of chain link fence to be erected at Stuart Nelson Softball Fields, as follows:
Total price of backstop, sales tax and labor for installation $1,654.20. Price for
four (4) foot fencing, including sales tax and labor for installation $4.43 per linear foot.
The total price for said fencing material, sales tax and labor not to exceed $10,632.00.
Said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on March 19, 1974, and as contained in the bid submitted by Nest Kentucky Roofing
and Siding Company, Inc.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Nest Kentucky Roofing and Siding Company, Inc. for said
material and labor as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid. The purchase price for same shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund Account No. 5125.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage. and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
