AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF J. R. SULLiVAN'S LAWN
AND GARDEN EQUIPMENT FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) RIDING LAWN MOWER
FOR USE BY THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
J. R. Sullivan's Lawn & Garden Equipment in the net amount of $1,379.65, including
applicable taxes, for sale to the City of one (1) 1974 Model YR 42 Yazoo Riding Blower,
said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on March 19, 1974, and as contained in the bid submitted by J. R. Sullivan's Lawn
& Garden Equipment.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with J. R. Sullivan's Lawn & Garden Equipment for sale to the
City of the mower authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid. The purchase price for same shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund Account No. 5114.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
