ORDINANCE NO. 74-2-929
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE
A RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT TO WESTERN KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY IN CONNECTION
WITH THE IMPROVEMENTS ON U. S. HIGHWAY 60
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby,
authorized to execute a right-of-way easement to Western Kentucky Gas Company,
a Delaware Corporation, its successors and assigns, for purposes of constructing,
maintaining, operating, altering, repairing, exchanging and removing a pipeline
and convenient appurtenances for the transportation of natural gas across certain
city properties which are more particularly described in Deed Book 126, page 573;
Deed Book 164, page 312 and Deed Book 338, page 113, McCracken County Court
Clerk's office. The aforesaid right-of-way easement is deemed necessary for the
relocation of certain gas lines in connection with the improvements on U. S.
Highway 60.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
