HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 400, Ordinance Number 74-1-91840l/ c ORDINANCE NO. 74-1-918 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DUNCAN INDUSTRIES FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF APPROXIMATELY THIRTY-SIX (36) MANUALLY OPERATED PARKING METERS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Duncan Industries for sale to the City of approximately thirty-six (36) manually operated Duncan model 60 parking meters, less trade-in allowance, for a net unit price of $60.00 each, said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing such bids enacted by the Board of Commissioners on November 27, 1973 and as contained in the bid of Duncan Industries dated December 4, 1973. SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Duncan Industries for the said parking meters authorized in Section 1 above and according to the terms and conditions of the said resolution and bid. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
