FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SWIMMING POOL AND BATH HOUSE TO BE LOCATED IN BLACKBURN PARK, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Harper & Arterburn, Inc. for construction of a new swimming pool and bath house to be located in Blackburn Park in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said bid being in the amount of $72,995.00 and said bid having the specifications as set out in the invitation for bids, contract documents and the resolution authorizing such bids, which was dated October 30, 1973, and as contained in the bid of Harper & Arterburn, Inc. dated November 19, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Harper & Arterburn, Inc. for the construction project as set out in Section 1 above, according to said resolution, invitation for bids, contract documents and said bid. SECTION 3. All costs by the City of Paducah relating to the construction and contract shall be paid from the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 5125. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter. c— Mayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners December 11, 1973 Passed by the Board of Commissioners January 4, 1974 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, January 4, 1974.
