HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 396, Ordinance Number 74-1-914396;' ORDINANCE NO. 74-1-914 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (h) OF SECTION 2-22 "SICK LEAVE GENERALLY" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH. KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Sub -section (h) of Section 2-22 "Sick leave generally" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said sub -section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 2-22. Sick leave generally. (h) In addition to the provisions set forth in Sub -sections (a) through (g) of this section, each member of the police and fire department shall be entitled to accrue additional sick leave time up to and including a total of one hundred twenty (120) working days (three (3) working days equal one platoon shift for members of the fire department) at the rate of one (1) day for each month of service for all days accrued above ninety (90) days." SECTION 2. Section 1 amends Section 2 of an ordinance adopted November 25, 1947, and which was last amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 73-3-777 adopted March 13, 1973. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after and retroactive to January 1, 1974.
