HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 373, Ordinance Number 73-12-908373 ORDINANCE NO. 73-12-908 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 26-3 AND ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 26 "POLICE COURT", AND AMENDING SECTION 26-20 OF SAID CHAPTER OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 26-3, "Clerk's Salary" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah be, and the same is hereby, repealed. SECTION 2. That Article IV, "Court Assistant Account", of Chapter 26 "Police Court" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah be, and the same is hereby, repealed. SECTION 3. That Section 26-20 of Article II, "Trial Commissioner" of Chapter 26 "Police Court, of the Code of Ordinances be amended and reordained to read as follows: "Section 26-20. Salary The compensation for the trial commissioner of the police court for services rendered shall be not more than six hundred (5600.00) per month, payable at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other city officers and employees. The Police Judge shall fix the salary, and shall notify the City Treasurer and City Manager of all changes in appointments and salaries. The trial commissioner shall receive no other city benefits for employment." SECTION 4. Section 1 repeals section 2 of an ordinance adopted July 18, 1932, which was last amended by Section 1 of an ordinance dated September 28, 1954. Section 2 repeals ordinance number 70-6-335 which was adopted June 9, 1970, Section 3 amends section 4 of an ordinance adopted January 17, 1967. SECTION 5.
