ORDINANCN NO. 73-12-905 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GULF OIL CORPORATION FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENT OF REGULAR AND ETHYL GASOLINE, MOTOR OIL, DIESEL FUEL, CHASSIS LUBRICANT, GEAR LUBE OIL, HYDRAULIC OIL, KEROSENE AND ANTI -FREEZE TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH FROM JANUARY 1, 1974 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1974, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Gulf Oil Corporation for furnishing the City with its requirement of regular and ethyl gasoline, No. 2 diesel fuel, kerosene and all lubricants and greases to be used by the City of Paducah from January 1, 1974 through December 31, 1974, which bid is in substantial compliance with the terms, conditions and specifications set out in the Resolution previously adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 20, 1973, authorizing such bids, and as set forth in the "Quotation and Contract of Sale" submitted by Gulf Oil Corporation and filed with the Minutes of the Board of Commissioners on December 11, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of the merchandise as set out in Section 1 hereof and in accordance with the said bid and said Resolution. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
