MULLEN MOTOR COMPANY, INC., FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE 1973 BUICK LE SABRE CUSTOM FOUR DOOR HARDTOP AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE MAYOR, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc., for the sale to the City of one 1973 LeSabre Custom Buick four door hardtop, Model 4BN39 automobile for use by the Mayor, said bid being in the amount of $5,664.05 with an allowance for trade-in of one 1971 Ford LTD four door in the amount of $3,395.11 with the net price being $2,268.94, and said bid being dated January 18, 1973, and in compliance with the resolution and specifications for such bid as was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 8, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Ray H. Mullen Motor company, Inc. for the purchase of the vehicle set forth in Section 1 above according to the bid, specifications and all contract documents relating thereto. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
