HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 336, Ordinance Number 73-10-892336 ORDINANCE NO. 73-10-892 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO A PROPOSED HIGHWAY PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PERTAINING TO A TRAFFIC AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE COIVIMONWEALTH WHEREAS, the Kentucky Bureau of Highways (hereinafter referred to as "Bureau") has made a survey and prepared plans on Highway Project, S.P.73-6172-9L, F 154 (1), in the City of Paducah, (hereinafter referred to as "City") and described as follows: Hinkleville-Park Avenue (U.S. 60) from 0.18 miles east of the I-24 interchange to Thompson Avenue in Paducah, including therein all of the right, title and interest held by the City in the approaches to any other city street crossed by said project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: That the following be ratified and approved by this Board: SECTION 1. That the City recognizes that certain traffic regulations will be required by the construction of the project within the city limits and hereby grants to the Mayor authority to enter into a contract (designated as HD 11-39) on behalf of the City with the Bureau putting into effect the provisions of this section. SECTION 2. Any Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be introduced and considered by the Board of Commissioners with relation to pertinent Kentucky Statutes, and ordinances of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 4.
