JOSEPHINE KELLEY FOR DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAIi, KENTUCKY, IN THE OPERATION OF THE FAMILY SERVICE SOCIETY WHEREAS, Mrs. Josephine Kelley has continuously served as the Executive Secretary for the Family Service Society in Paducah, Kentucky, since 1947, and WHEREAS, Airs. Josephine Kelley has for many years volunteered and rendered invaluable service to the City of Paducah, Kentucky by serving as a dedicated member of the Senior Citizens Committee, Paducah Senior Citizens Advisory Board for Aging, McCracken County Citizens Advisory Board for Aging, and as Treasurer of the Emergency Relief Committee, and WHEREAS, Airs. Josephine Kelley was instrumental in assisting in the formation of the Child Development Center (Head Start), and WHEREAS, on October 15, 1973, Airs. Josephine Kelley will retire as the Executive Secretary of the Family Service Society, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, by and through its Board of Commissioners, expresses its appreciation and gratitude to Mrs. Josephine Kelley for her many and varied services to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, rendered in her capacity as Executive Secretary for the Family Service Society. SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Airs. Josephine Kelley. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to spread a copy of this Resolution on the permanent record book of the City of Paducah, so that all in the future may be aware of the dedication and services of Airs. Josephine Kelley. SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
