HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 320, Ordinance Number 73-9-884320 i ORDINANCE NO. 73-9-884 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 TO THE URBAN RENEWAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY, FOR IMPROVEMENTS ON YEISER STREET, OUTSIDE. THE LIMITS OF " NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, SITE PREPARATION, NORTH TYLER PARK AREA, AREA NO. 2, PROJECT NO, KY. A-2, PHASE II" WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency, after the letting of appropriate bids, has caused the construction and improvements of a certain portion of Yeiser Street located outside of the boundary line of the North Tyler Park Area, Area No. 2, and WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has agreed to pay for all additional street construction, including excavation, drainage, bituminous surfacing, curb and gutters for that portion of Yeiser Street outside of the North Tyler Park Area, Area No. 2, and WHEREAS, said construction cost has now been determined to be in the amount of $5,000.00, which sum has not been reimbursed. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency the sum of $5,000.00 for the street construction project, including excavation, drainage, bituminous surfacing, curbing and guttering of that portion of Yeiser Street lying outside of the North Tyler Park Area, Area No. 2, and within the city limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. That Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3454 be charged with the expense. SECTION 3.
