HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 319, Ordinance Number 73-9-883ORDINANCE NO. 73-9-883 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF NEST KENTUCKY ROOFING AND BEATING COMPANY TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL A SECURITY FENCE AT THE CITY OF PADUCAH LANDFILL, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH INSTALLATION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Nest Kentucky Roofing and Heating Company for the construction and installation of a security fence at the City of Paducah Landfill for the total price of $2,490.00, said fence to consist of approximately 480 feet of 9 guage 8 foot Chain Link fencing with 3 strands of barbed wire to be mounted on the top, together with all necessary accessories including, but not limited to, posts, corner posts, gate posts and five (2) 10 foot gates. Said price shall include all material, labor and applicable taxes, and shall be performed according to the offer of the bidder dated August 6, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Nest Kentucky Roofing and Heating Company. SECTION 3. That Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3521 be charged with this expense. SECTION 4.
