COPELAND, 838 BETHEL STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOT 12, BLOCK 3, OF THURMAN, HUGHES, HERZOG & BETHEL ADDITION FOR THE SUM OF $240.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Billy J. Copeland in the amount of $240.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described property, be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot 12, Block 3, in Thurman, Hughes, Herzog and Bethel Addition, fronting 41 feet on the east side of Bethel Street and as shown on page 68 of Block 11ap Book No. 6 in the office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book 207, page 221. Being the same land (L. L. Downey estate and Robert H. Watson property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Benjamin C. LeRoy by deed dated August 24, 1973, and of record in Deed Book page in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $240.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are herein authorized and directed to convey to Billy J. Copeland all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, but said Deed of Conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
