A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR
FEDERAL ASSISTANCE IN CONNECTION WITH THE PLAN FOR PRESERVATION OF THE
ALBEN IV. BARKLEY MUSEUM, AND AUTIiORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS FOR SAID APPLICATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
hereby direct the City Manager to make application for Federal assistance in connection
with the plan for preservation of the Alban W. Barkley Museum, located at 583 Madison
Street, Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. That Alice H. McNutt, Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
is hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents required by the U. S. Department
of housing and Urban Development in connection with the aforesaid application.
SECTION 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
