FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) MODEL L-400 VACUUM LEAP LOADERS, AND SIX (6) LEAF COLLECTION MODEL L-800 BOXES, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF i PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc. for sale to the City of three (3) Model L-400 Vacuum Leaf Loaders, and six (6) Leaf Collection, Model L-800 Boxes; said bid being in the amount of $26,319.05, including applicable sales tax; said bid being dated August 1, 1973, and in compliance with the resolution and specifications for such bid as was previously adopted by the Board of Commissioners. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Kentucky Machinery Inc. for the purchase of the items set forth in Section 1 above according to the bid, specifications and all contract documents relating thereto. SECTION 3. That Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414 be charged with the expense. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
