HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 295, Ordinance Number 73-8-868295 ORDINANCE NO. 73-8-868 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BOYD DRISKILL, 1612 BLOOM AVENUE, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH 1N LOT 7, BLOCK 1, IN J. W. LITTLE ADDITION FOR THE SUM OF $450.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY TRE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Boyd Driskill in the amount of $450.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City, be accepted, said land being described as follows: Lot 7, Block 1, J. N. Little Addition, fronting 80 feet on the east side of Bloom Avenue, 250 feet south of Paxton Street, and as shown on page 7 of Block Map Book No. 7 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (A. T. and Norma Brown property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated March 13, 1972, and of record in Deed Book 538, page 152, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $450.00 to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Boyd Driskill all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
