HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 285, Ordinance Number 73-7-860285 ORDINANCE NO. 73-7- 860 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PART OF KRUGER STREET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a certain street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the northeast corner of 21st Street and Kruger Street; thence in an easterly direction with the north property line of Kruger Street 145 feet to the west line of a 15 foot alley; thence in a southerly direction across Kruger Street 50 feet to a point in the south property line of Kruger Street; thence in a westerly direction with the south property line of Kruger Street 145 feet to the southeast corner of Kruger Street and 21st Street; thence in a northerly direction across Kruger Street 50 feet to the point of beginning. Beginning at a point in the northeast corner of Kruger Street and a 15 foot alley, said point being located 160 feet east of the northeast corner of Kruger Street and 21st Street; thence in an easterly direction with the north property line of Kruger Street 175.3 feet to a point; thence in a southerly direction across Kruger Street 50 feel to a point in the south property line of Kruger Street; thence in a westerly direction with the south property line of Kruger Street 173.2 feet to a point in the east line of a 15 foot alley; thence in a northerly direction across Kruger Street 50 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street described in Section 1 hereof.
