ORDINANCE NO. 73-7- 854
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TILFORD PLUMBING E HEATING, INC
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WEST END SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Tilford Plumbing and Heating, Inc, for the construction of the West End Sewer
Extension Project (Project No. EDA 04-1-01009) in the total bid amount of $288, 161 .95,
said bid being in compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by Edward T.
Hannan E Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, and with the resolution authorizing
bids heretofore adopted by the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with
Tilford Plumbing E Heating, Inc. for the construction of the West End Sewer Extension
Project according to Section 7 above, and according to the plans and specifications
and contract documents prepared by the Consulting Engineers and incorporated
in the invitation for bids and the bid proposal.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
