HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 273, Ordinance Number 73-7-852ORDINANCE NO. 73-7- 852 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT UPON A PLAYGROUND ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ELIZABETH STREET BETWEEN 9TH AND IOTH STREETS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to purchase from The Miracle Equipment Company, the following playground equipment for use by the Parks & Recreation Department upon a playground on the South side of Elizabeth Street between 9th and 10th Streets: Quantity Model No. Description Price 1 203-1 Swing Set with 3 aluminum ponies 275.00 2 1206 Heavy Duty Bench 6' long stationary - green (a $50.00 each 100.00 1 608-3 Twin Rider with aluminum seats - Duck 194.00 1 500 Jack & Jill Playhouse with Fiberglass Roof 698.80 1 9011 Rodeo Rocky - Aluminum - stationary 76.90 1 902 Elephant, aluminum - stationary 76.90 1 300 Jr. Whirl 169.00 1 254 Swing Set with four seats 10' high 254.00 (Splashproof seats) 1 764 Steel Fan -shaped backboard with goal and steel net 69.50 Total $1,914.10 Prices shall be f.o.b. Paducah and shall include all applicable sales taxes. SECTION 2. The cost of the items described in Section 1 above shall be charged to Account No. 5125 Federal Revenue Sharing Funds. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the Completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
