HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 263, Ordinance Number 73-7-844263 ORDINANCE NO, 73-7-844 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF HUSBANDS AND SOUTH 12TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on August 7, 1972, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF HUSBANDS AND SOUTH 12TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared to be In agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the fallowing property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone to B-1, Convenience and Service Zone: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of Husbands Street with the center line of a 15 foot alley lying 165 feet west of 11th Street; thence in a northerly direction along and with the center line of said 15 foot alley a distance of 210 feet to the center line of a 30 foot alley lying 165 feet south of Caldwell Street; thence at right angles along and with the center line of said 30 foot alley a distance of 172.5 feet to the point of intersection of the center line of said 30 foot alley with the west property line of Leslie A. Feast Construction Co., Inc.; thence in a southerly direction along and with the west property line of Leslie A. Feast Construction Co., Inc. a distance of 210 feet to the center line of Husbands Street; thence in an easterly direction along and with the center line of Husbands Street a distance of 172.5 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
