ORDINANCE NO. 73- 6-840
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-59 "PARKS E RECREATION
DEPARTMENT", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
BY ABOLISHING THE POSITION OF "LABORER", AND REPEALING SECTION 10-59 (d),
AND CREATING THE NEW POSITION OF "TRUCK DRIVER"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That so much of Sub -section (a) of Section 10-59 "Parks 6
Recreation Department", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
as reads -
Laborer (I position) $2.68
be amended and reordained in the following manner:
Truck Driver (1 position) $2.91
SECTION 2. That Sub -section (d) of Section 10-59 "Parks 8 Recreation
Department', of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby
repealed and abolished in its entirety.
SECTION 3. Section 1 above amends Section 10 of Ordinance No. 73-3-784,
which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on March 13, 1973. Section 2 above
repeals Ordinance No. 72-11-716 which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on November 14, 1972.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
