FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE VACUUM VEHICLE FOR USE IN THE PARKS 6 RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Mike Wiley Company, Inc., for sale to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, of one vacuum vehicle for use in the Parks and Recreation Department, in the total sum of $2,645.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing bids which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on May 15, 1973, said bid being dated May 21, 1973 and received May 22, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Mike Wiley Company, Inc. for sale to the City of Paducah of the item specified in Section 1 above, which contract shall be in compliance with Section 1 above, the resolution authorizing bids, and the bid of Mike Wiley Company, Inc. SECTION 3. The cost of this equipment shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 5114. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
