HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 240, No Resolution Number240V A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A WEST END SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION TO THE COLEMAN ROAD BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of a West End Sanitary Sewer Extension to the Coleman Road, said advertisement to be in words and figures as follows: "Separate sealed bids for sewerage extensions for the City of Paducah will be received by the Board of Commissioners at the Mayor and City Manager's office, 2nd Floor, Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, until 2:00 o'clock P.M., D.S.T., �,F-.' .,_ %City / , 1973, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. v The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other documents may be examined at the following: City Engineer's Office, Paducah, Kentucky Associated General Contractors' Office, Paducah, Kentucky F. W. Dodge Corporation, Louisville, Kentucky Edward T. Hannan E Associates, Inc. Paducah, Kentucky Copies may be obtained at the office of Edward T. Hannan E Associates, Inc., located at 2221 Broadway, Post Office Box 1349 Avondale Station, Paducah, Kentucky 42001, upon payment of $50.00 for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded his payment, and any non -bidder upon so returning such a set will be refunded $25.00. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual dale of the opening thereof'. SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
