ORDINANCE NO. 73-5- 826
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILKINS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
FOR CONTRACT NO. 2, PROJECT NO. KY E-2, SITE IMPROVEMENTS, MECHANICSBURG
CODE ENFORCEMENT AREA, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilkins Construction
Company, Inc. for Contract No. 2, Project No. KY E-2 Site Improvements,
Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Area, in the total sum of $128,441. 00, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing bids which was adopted
by the Board of Commissioners on April 24, 1973, said bid being dated and received
May 14, 1973.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Wilkins Construction Company, Inc. for Contract No. 2,
Project No. KY F.-2, Site Improvements, Mechanicsburg Code Enforcement Area,
which contract shall be in compliance with Section 1 above, the resolution authorizing
bids, all plans and specifications, and the bid of Wilkins Construction Company, Inc.
SECTION 3. The cost of this porject shall be paid from Account No. 6285
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
thereafore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
