HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 196, Ordinance Number 73-4-813196 ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-813 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC. INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1973 ECONOMY TYPE AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH. KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of one Chevrolet Nova four door sedan, six passenger model, automobile for use by the Parks & Recreation Department, for the sum of $2,880.19, less trade-in of a 1965 Buick automobile in the amount of $300.00, for a net amount of $2,580.19, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 3, 1973, and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. submitted April 16, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc, for sale to the City of the automobile as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all requirements heretofore approved and incorporated in said bid. The purchase price for said equipment shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 5114. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
