ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-810
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR THE CITY'S VEHICLES FOR THE YEAR 1973 WITH
BRADSHAW & WEIL, INCORPORATED
WHEREAS, the City's present policy covering liability insurance for the
City's fleet of vehicles will expire on April 14, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah must purchase a new policy, and
WHEREAS, Bradshaw & Weil, Incorporated, has submitted the best proposal
providing such coverage for the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to purchase liability insurance for the City's fleet of vehicles from Bradshaw &
Weil, Inc. covering the period of April 14, 1973 to April 14, 1974 for a renewal
premium of $7,947.00.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if
adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
