ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-807
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING TIME CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
PROPERTY AND GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, FOR THE YEAR 1973 WITH BRADSHAW & WEIL, INCORPORATED I
WHEREAS, the present property and general liability insurance must now
be renewed, and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, must purchase a new policy
and
WHEREAS, Bradshaw & Weil, Incorporated has submitted the best proposal
providing such coverage for the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to purchase said property and general liability insurance from Bradshaw & Weil,
Incorporated, for the year 1973, for a premium in the amount of $26,664.00 annually,
providing however, that the aforesaid premium sum will be paid as follows:
$15,893.00 by the City of Paducah, Kentucky
133.00 by McCracken County, Kentucky
$10,638.00 by Forest Hills Public Housing Corporation.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in
the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
