ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-806
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $6000.00 TO THE
PADUCAH BOARD OF EDUCATION VOCATIONAL HANDICAPPED PROGRAM FOR THE
CITY'S AGREED PORTION OF A FEDERAL GRANT-IN-AID VOCATIONAL TRAINING
PROGRAM FOR HANDICAPPED PEOPLE TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE PADUCAH
BOARD OF EDUCATION, AND FUNDED JOINTLY BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND
THE COUNTY OF McCRACKEN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager and City Treasurer be, and
they are hereby, authorized to pay to the Paducah Board of Education
Vocational Handicapped Program the sum of $6000.00 for contribution
to a Federal Grant -in -Aid Program to be administered by the Paducah Board
of Education and funded jointly by the City of Paducah and the County of
McCracken.
SECTION 2. That the funds paid pursuant to this ordinance shall
be charged to Account No. 6561.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public
inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage,
and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
