FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE DUMP TRUCKS FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the sale to the City of three (3) F-600 Ford Dump Trucks for use in the Street Department, for the total sum of $16,141.73, less trade-in of a 1951 GMC dump truck for $180.73, for a net amount of $15,961.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on March 20, 1973, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. submitted April 2, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of the property and equipment as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all requirements heretofore approved and incorporated in said bid. The purchase price for said equipment shall be paid from Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 3414. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
