ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-799
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE MATERIAL SPREADERS FOR USE IN THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Manning Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City of three (3) Gledhill
Model 707A Roller Type rear mounted material spreaders for use in the
Street Department, for the smount of $3,039.00, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Com-
missioners on March 20, 1973, and as contained in the bid of Manning
Equipment, Inc. dated March 28, 1973.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Manning Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City
of the property and equipment as authorized in Section 1 above according
to the specifications, bid proposal and all requirements heretofore
approved and incorporated in said bid. The purchase price for said
equipment shall be paid from Federal Revenue sharing Trust Fund Account
No. 3414.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect ten days thereafter.
