ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-796
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A COOPERATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE URBAN
RENEWAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
PERTAINING TO THE REVISED APPLICATION FOR THE FOURTH ANNUAL INCREMENT,
NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR PROJECT NO, KY. A-2
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are
hereby, authorized to execute a Co,,perating Agreement between the
City of Paducah and the Urban Renewal and Community Development
Agency of Paducah, Kentucky, pertaining to the revised application
for the Fourth Annual Increment, Neighborhood Development Program for
Project No. Kentucky A-2, which said proposed agreement was filed
with the Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Commissioners on
April 3, 1973, and the text of which Agreement is incorporated
herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The City of Paducah agrees to appropriate the funds
required for cash grants-in-aid as set out in Section 1 of said
Cooperating Agreement, and the City of Paducah agrees to be con-
tingently liable for the sums associated with Section 2 of said Agreement.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week
for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect immediately thereafter.
