HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 161, Ordinance Number 73-4-795ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-795 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES SANDERS NURSERY AND IMPLEMENT COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF VARIOUS LAWN AND GARDEN SUPPLIES TO BE USED IN THE RIVERFRONT BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the proposal of James Sanders Nursery and Implement Company for sale to the City of various lawn and garden supplies, together with materials and labor, for use in the Riverfront Beautification Project, in the total amount of $2,475.00, said proposal being dated March 22, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with James Sanders Nursery and Implement Company for the sale to the City of the items authorized in Section 1 above, according to the proposal of said Company dated March 22, 1972, and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
