HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 160, Ordinance Number 73-4-794160 V ORDINANCE NO. 73-4-794 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE MODEL 613 WHEEL TRACTOR AND ELEVATING SCRAPER FOR USE IN THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Whayne Supply Company for sale to the City of one (1) used Caterpillar 1970 Model 613 Wheel Tractor and Elevating Scraper for use in the Refuse Department, for the net amount of $33,955.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by a resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on March 6, 1973, and as contained in the bid of Whayne Supply Company dated March 26, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Whayne Supply Company for sale to the City of property and equipment as authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid proposal and all requirements heretofore approved and incorporated in said bid. The purchase price for said equipment to be paid from the Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 3514. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
