HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 15, Ordinance Number 73-1-74315 - ORDINANCE NO. 73-1-743 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,511.33 TO PADUCAH WATER WORKS FOR THE RELOCATION OF AN EIGHT INCH WATER MAIN ALONG FRIEDMAN LAND WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS, at a joint meeting of the Commissioners of the Paducah Water Works and the Mayor and City Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, held on May 3, 1971, it was agreed that the City of Paducah, Kentucky, would reimburse the Paducah Water Works for the cost of relocating an eight inch water main along Friedman Lane within the City, and WHEREAS, said relocation has now been completed at a cost to Paducah Water Works of $2,511.33, which sum has not been reimbursed. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and.he is hereby, authorized to pay to the Paducah Water Works the sum of $2,511.33 for the labor and material used for relocating the eight inch water main along Friedman Lane in the City of Paducah from Pines Road to the city limits. SECTION 2. That Account Number 9094 be charged with this expense. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
