AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 1973 FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE FIRE
CHIEF, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
for sale to the City of one (1) 1973 Galaxie 500, four door sedan
automobile for use by the Fire Chief, said bid being in the net cash
price of $3,530.27, and said bid being dated January 3, 1973 and in
compliance with the resolution and specifications for such bid as was
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 12, 1972.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the
purchase of the vehicle set forth in Section 1 above according to the
bid, the specifications and all contract documents relating thereto.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection
for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect
immediately thereafter.
