ORDINANCE NO. 73-3-783
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-47 "NONCIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES
GENERALLY" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2-47 "Noncivil service employees
generally" of the Code of Ordinances city of Paducah, Kentucky, be
amended and reordained so that said section as amended and
reordained
shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 2-47. Noncivil service employees generally.
(a) The monthly or hourly rate of compensation of the following
noncivil service employees of the City of Paducah shall be
the amount
set opposite the designation of such employment, to -wit:

(b) The housing code enforcement officer shall be paid at the
rate of $560.00 per month for the first six months of employment, at
the expiration of six months, $570.00 per month, and at the expiration
of one year $580.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation
of the city manager.
(c) The switchboard operator shall be paid at the rate of $330.00
per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of
six months, $340.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $350.00
per month and at the expiration of two years $360.00 per month, such
increases to be made upon recommendation of the city manager.
(d) The clerk-typist - secretary, police department, shall be paid
at the rate of $400.00 per month for the first six months of employment;
at the expiration of six months, $410.00 per month, and at the expiration
of one year $420.00, and at the expiration of two years $430.00 per month,
such increases to be made upon recommendation of the city manager.
(e) For such period of time as the City of Paducah receives
and must account for General Revenue Sharing Funds and any Special
Revenue Sharing Funds from the United states Government, the City
Treasurer shall be compensated for his extra services in an amount
equal to $25.00 per month. Any of the foregoing positions in Sub-section (a)
hereafter from time to time be designated for payment from said Revenue
Sharing Funds upon motion duly passed by the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends an ordinance adopted on
March 16, 1957 and last amended by ordinance No. 72-12-726, adopted
December 5, 1972.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and
after April 2, 1973.
