ORDINANCE NO. 73-3-776
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
WITH SETH E. GIEM & ASSOCIATES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ANTENNA SUPPORT
SYSTEM ATOP THE JACKSON HOUSE, AND FOR THE USE OF ALL CITY DEPARTMENTS
COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authori-
zed and directed to execute a contract between the City of Paducah,
Kentucky and Seth E. Giem & Associates in the amount of $1,750.00
for the construction, labor and materials necessary for the location
of an antenna support system atop the Jackson House in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, and for the use of all departments communication
systems, said contract shall contain, among its provisions, the proposed
agreement of Seth E. Giem & Associates, which was received and filed
with the Minutes of the Board of Commissioners' meeting on March 6, 1973,
and which proposed agreement is adopted herein by reference.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection
for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect
immediately thereafter.
