ORDINANCE NO. 75-12-1208
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY TREASURER
TO PAY TO JACKSON PURCHASE LOCAL OFFICIALS ORGANIZATION, INC. A SUM NOT
TO EXCEED $4,500.00 FOR THE CITY'S SHARE IN THE PURCHASE OF AN AMBULANCE
TO BE USED FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager and City Treasurer be, and they are
hereby, authorized and directed to pay to the Jackson Purchase Local Officials
Organization, Inc. a sum not to exceed $4,500.00 for the City's contribution in the
purchase of an ambulance to be owned by the City of Paducah and to be used for
emergency medical services.
SECTION 2. The aforesaid amount shall be charged to General Fund Account
No. 2177.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is further authorized and hereby directed
to execute any and all necessary contract documents that may be necessary for the
purchase of the aforesaid ambulance.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect immediately thereafter.
