AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ARTICLE XXII "CITIZENS EMERGENCY R
FAMILY SERVICE COMMITTEE" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PA
KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF TIIE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established ARTICLE XXII
"Citizens Emergency Relief - Family Service Committee of the Code of Ordinances o
City of Pnducah, Kentucky, which shall read as follows:
'ARTICLE XXII. Citizens Emergency Relief - Family Service Cor
Sec. 2-355. Establishment.
There is hereby established and created a citizens emergency r
family service committee of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
Sec. 2-356. Purpose.
The purpose of said committee is to provide emergency aid to
transients and citizens of Paducah and McCracken County on a one time

Sec. 2-358. Vacancies in office.
Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as original appointments
are made.. The members of the committee shall serve for terms of two (2)
years.

shall serve without compensation.
Sec. 2-360. Not to incur debts to be paid by City.
The citizens emergency relief - family service committee shall not incur
any indebtedness to be paid by the City, and the City shall not be responsible

for any debts incurred by the committee." ,
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
