ORDINANCE NO. 75-11-1201
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF DOROTHY E. GRIMES OF
LINCOLN AVENUE, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF
CITY OF PADUCAH IN THE LOT KNOWN AS 1134 LINCOLN AVENUE, FOR THE
OF $500.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
CLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Dorothy E. Grimes in the amount of $500.00
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land therein, be accepted,
said land being described as follows:
Lot 7, Block 2, Quarles Mayfield Road Addition,
Plat Book "A", page 107, fronting 48.4 feet on
the east side of Lincoln Avenue (IVo. 1134) and
as shown on page 49 of Block Map Book No. 7
in the office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book
270, page 536.
Being the same land (H. A. Baker, Jr. property)
conveyed to the City of Paducah by Benjamin C.
LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed dated November 7, 1975,
and of record in Deed Book 577, page 86 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $500.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Dorothy E.
Grimes all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in �

Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain �
no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown
by an accurate survey.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
