ORDINANCE NO. 75-11-1195
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT WITH WHITE FARMS FOR THE USE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 18, 1975 TO JUNE 30, 1976
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a contract with White Farms permitting their use, for the period from
November 18, 1975 to June 30, 1976, of unutilized real property located within the
City Landfill site.
SECTION 2. Said contract shall contain terms which provide to the City
the sum of one-third of all money received from the sale of any crops grown on the
aforesaid site during said period, and providing further that the City may use any
of the subject land during the term of the contract, at no expense to it, even if said
use results in the destruction of planted crops thereon.
SECTION 3. This An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
