HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 1026, Ordinance Number 75-10-11851026 ORDINANCE NO. 75-10-1185 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING T11E BID OF RUDD-WOODALL MOTOR SALES FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) COMPACT AUTOMOBILE FOR USE BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Rudd -Woodall Motor Sales for sale to the City of one (1) 4 -door Maverick 302 V8 for use by the Director of Public Services for the sum of $2,890.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on September 23, 1975, and as contained in the bid of Rudd -Woodall Motor Sales dated October 10, 1975. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Rudd -Woodall Motor Sales for sale to the City of the vehicle authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for same shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3214. SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter. , �Iayor Prote Robert A.
