HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 102, Ordinance Number 73-3-772102 ORDINANCE NO. 73-3-772 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF LOCUST DRIVE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a portion of Locust Drive situated in said City, described as follows: Beginning at a point at the intersection of the north right-uf•-way of Yeiser Street and the west right-of-way of Locust Drive, said point also being 25.00 feet measured perpendicularly to Yeiser Street and 30.00 feet measured perpendicularly to Locust Drive; thence N 550 41' 00" W along the north right-of-way of Yeiser Street a distance of 5.00 feet to a point; thence N 340 55' 0711 E a distance of 655.37 feet to a point in the west right-of-way of Locust Drive, said point also being 30.00 feet left of Locust Drive centerline Station 19+67.45; thence in a southwesterly direction with the west right-of-way of Locust Drive along an arc turning to the right a distance of 59.40 feet, said arc subtended by a chord bearing S 300 05' 03" W a distance of 59.33 feet; thence S 340 55' 07h" W with the west right-of-way of Locust Drive a distance of 596.25 feet, back to the point of beginning. Containing 3179.84 Sq. Ft. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the portion of the street described in Section 1 hereof.
