HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 100, Ordinance Number 73-3-770100 ORDINANCE NO. 73-3-770 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BRANDEIS MACHINERY AND SUPPLY CORPORATION FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) INTERNATIONAL MODEL 250 SERIES C, TRACK TYPE END LOADER FOR USE BY THE CITY'S REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Brandeis Machinery & Supply Corporation for the sale to the City of one (1) International Model 250, Series C, Track Type End Loader for use by the City's Refuse Department, said bid being in the total amount of $65,009.50 with an allowance of $29,110.00 being made for the trade-in of one (1) Model 955-K Caterpillar, and an allowance for rental payments made through February 28, 1973, making the net price for the unit to be purchased $35,899.50, said bid being dated February 22, 1973, and in compliance with the resolution and specifications for such bid as was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on February 6, 1973. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with Brandeis Machinery & Supply Corporation for the purchase of the International Model 250, Series C, Track Type End Loader according to the bid and specifications set forth in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
